Spin controls Spin, Multi-pick, Eliminate, and Undo

Spin

Press Spin for one result. After your first button spin, supported wheels can also be flicked with your pointer or finger.

Multi-pick

Run several rounds automatically when you need multiple names, choices, or winners.

Eliminate

Turn Eliminate on to remove each winner before the next round. This is useful when nobody should be selected twice.

Undo

Made a change you did not want? Undo can restore a recent wheel state, including an eliminated result.

Quick Tweaks Edit choices, colors, stickers, textures, and odds

Open Quick Tweaks when you want to change what is on the wheel.

Add or edit options: rename individual segments or add a new one.
Bulk Add: paste a full column from Excel or Google Sheets, or paste names separated by lines or commas.
Spreadsheet import: import the first column of a CSV, TSV, or TXT file. In Google Sheets, use File → Download → Comma-separated values (.csv), or simply copy the cells and paste them into Bulk Add.
Up to 1,000 entries: every wheel supports large lists. The editor displays 50 rows at a time to stay responsive on phones, tablets, and school computers.
Shuffle or sort: quickly rearrange your wheel.
Colors: choose a segment color and readable text color.
Weights: increase or decrease an option’s chance of being selected.
Stickers: place artwork on individual wheel segments.
Textures: add full-segment artwork behind the label and sticker.
Brand Kit: build a reusable color and logo setup. Saving, applying, and AI tools depend on your plan.

Spin Studio Change how the wheel looks, sounds, and celebrates

Title and subtitle

Give your wheel a name and add a short instruction or description.

Countdown

Add a countdown before the wheel begins spinning and choose its length.

Sound and voice

Turn wheel sounds on or off, choose a winner voice, edit the winning phrase, or use recording tools when available.

Winner effects

Adjust confetti, winner reveals, center artwork, and other spin effects available for that wheel.

Teams and points

Set up players or teams and attach points to winning results.

Fidget Mode

Open the center-vortex spinner for a smaller interactive spin with speed, snap, and recenter controls.

When the wheel lands Handle the result and keep the experiment moving

The winner panel shows the selected segment and the actions available for that result.

Spin again: close the result and run another round.
Remove the winner: take the selected segment off the wheel.
Pin the result: keep it in Winner’s Vault.
Assign points: attach the result to a player or team when those tools are active.
Send Spin Invite: create a shareable invitation containing your custom wheel.

Winner’s Vault Keep the results that matter

Winner’s Vault keeps pinned results from your spins. Depending on the active wheel tools, a saved result can include its segment, points, player or team, date, and time.

Use it for prize drawings, classroom rounds, tournaments, challenges, attendance, or any game where you need to remember what already happened.

Overlay link

Share a presentation-ready version that opens directly in Overlay Mode.

Anyone with a shared link may be able to open the wheel, so do not place private or sensitive information in segment labels.

Overlay Mode Present a cleaner wheel on a shared screen

Overlay Mode removes most editing distractions and gives the wheel a cleaner presentation layout. Use it for classrooms, meetings, parties, events, games, recordings, and shared screens. The current public tool provides Overlay Mode; it does not include a separate Streamer Mode.

Save and organize Keep wheels you want to use again

Vortex Pro dashboards let you save customized wheel setups, organize them into boards, pin favorites, duplicate versions, and reopen useful wheels without rebuilding them.

Look for the dashboard-plus or Save control near the top of the wheel. If the feature is locked, the wheel will show the plan needed to use it.

Randomness and weights How the wheel chooses a result

The wheel uses cryptographically strong random values when your browser supports them. With equal weights, each segment has an equal chance of being selected.

Changing a segment’s weight intentionally changes its odds. A segment with a larger weight is more likely to win, but no individual spin is guaranteed.

Spin Science can run large test batches and compare expected percentages with actual results. It is useful for checking weights—not predicting the next spin.

Free wheels

Every published wheel is free to open, customize, and spin without a spin limit. The free editor supports as many as 1,000 entries, spreadsheet-style input, file import, weights, colors, and the available wheel controls.

Lab Packs

A Lab Pack is an optional, one-time themed asset collection usable across all wheels. Each product page identifies its included stickers, textures, and Center Vortex artwork.

Vortex Pro

One optional $9.99 monthly plan unlocks the complete premium asset library, Creator Lab, Inventor Lab, Center Vortex options, Brand Kit tools, saved wheels, boards, and dashboards. It does not unlock extra spins because spins are already unlimited.

A locked premium asset will take you directly to its Lab Pack when it belongs to one, or to Vortex Pro when it is part of the complete subscription library.

Before you ask the professor

Do I need an account?

No. Every wheel can be opened, customized, and spun for free. An account is used for purchases, saved dashboards, and Vortex Pro tools.

Does it work on mobile?

Yes. The wheel works on phones, tablets, and desktop browsers. Sound, voice, haptics, and animation can vary by device.

Can I make my own wheel?

Yes. Open Quick Tweaks to rename entries, add choices, change colors, adjust weights, and customize the current wheel.

Can a result repeat?

Yes—unless you turn on Eliminate or remove the winner before the next spin.

How many names can I add?

You can add up to 1,000 names, choices, prizes, students, or other entries to one wheel.

Can I import Google Sheets?

Yes. Copy a column from Google Sheets and paste it into Bulk Add, or download the sheet as CSV and import its first column.

Are free spins unlimited?

Yes. There is no five-spin limit and no paid-wheel cutoff. Spin any published wheel as many times as you need.

What do Lab Packs and Vortex Pro unlock?

Lab Packs are permanent themed asset collections. Vortex Pro unlocks the complete premium library, creation labs, Brand Kit, saved wheels, boards, and dashboards.

What are Snap Spins?

Is there a Streamer Mode?
