A transparent random selection starts with the list. Confirm who is included, check the weights, show the spin, and decide whether a name can be selected more than once.
Verify names and weights
Include each eligible name once and use equal weights when every entry should have the same chance. Remove accidental duplicates, outdated entries, and anyone sitting this round out.
Make the selection visible
Show the final list and spin where the group can see the wheel. Leave the result visible long enough for everyone to confirm the selected name before continuing.
Set the repeat rule first
Leave Eliminate off when a name may be selected again. Turn it on to remove each result when you close it or spin again. Undo can restore a recently removed entry.
