WINNER DESK NEWS BRIEF
WHAT IT DOES

What does a giveaway winner picker do?

A giveaway winner picker randomly selects one entry from the final list supplied by the giveaway organizer.

The wheel handles the random selection and visible reveal. It does not verify eligibility, check whether someone followed the entry requirements, enforce platform rules, or decide what should cause a redraw.

HOW TO DRAW A GIVEAWAY WINNER

Four moves. One documented draw.

Publish the method, verify the entries, configure the wheel, and record the result before contacting or announcing the winner.

01
DRAW RULES

Publish the method

State who may enter, when entries close, how many winners will be drawn, whether repeat wins are allowed, and what triggers a redraw.

RULES POSTED
02
ENTRY CHECK

Freeze the eligible list

Apply the published entry rules, remove invalid entries, handle duplicates consistently, and stop accepting changes before the draw begins.

03
WHEEL SETUP

Configure the draw

Load the final entries and keep their weights equal unless the published rules allow multiple entries. Use Eliminate when winners cannot be selected twice.

CHOOSE THE RIGHT DRAW PLAN

Six giveaways. Six details to settle.

The wheel can reveal the winner, but the organizer still controls the eligible list, prize order, privacy choices, verification, and redraw process.

01
SOCIAL MEDIA

Comment giveaways

Collect and verify qualifying entries before loading the wheel. The picker does not connect to a social platform or confirm that someone followed, tagged, liked, or commented correctly.

02
LIVE EVENTS

Raffle drawings

Use ticket numbers, initials, or approved display names on a public screen. Keep the private contact information in a separate organizer record.

03
MULTIPLE PRIZES

Several winners

Publish which prize belongs to each draw position before spinning. Use Eliminate so a selected entry cannot win again unless repeat wins are allowed by the rules.

04
LIVESTREAMS

On-screen reveals

Use Overlay Mode for a cleaner display and record the selected result. Avoid showing email addresses, phone numbers, order details, or other private entrant information.

05
COMMUNITY

Class or club prizes

Define who earned entry and how many entries each person receives. Keep the final wheel consistent with those rules before the group watches the draw.

06
REDRAWS

Backup winners

Decide in advance when a redraw is allowed and how long a winner has to respond. Record alternates in order instead of quietly replacing a result.
